No two words should scare religious believers like 'intelligent design'. No two words can completely undermine the religion. It is interesting to see that the only protestors against teaching intelligent design in the classroom are the atheists and evolutionists. The Christians are actually arguing for it to be taught. The reason for this of course is because neither group can see beyond their noses. All three are completely rigid and unbending in their beliefs, including the belief that the other is the enemy.

Christianity has survived barrage after barrage from both the evolutionist and atheist camps and has not weakened on iota. The majority of the western world considers themselves Christians while the Middle East is Muslim. The Far East is mainly a form of Buddhism. The reason for this is because both camps were at complete opposite ends of the belief scale. You couldn't be created by God and be a descendent of the apes. You can't be convinced there is no God, and believe in a creator. So as with anything, people lined up on one side or the other or hovered in the not sure category.

Intelligent Design on the other hand can be believed by the Christians, the atheists, just about anybody but the evolutionists except in one example. The fact is there are fundamental similarities in all the worlds' religions. If one can find a common ancestry, or invent one, all the religions can get on board the same boat. A natural progression of intelligent design, seeing as it teaches 'somebody' created us, is that space aliens seeded the planet with DNA which created man through billions of years of evolutionary processes. Aliens and their ships could easily have been mistaken for angels by dim witted cavemen and told of in their stories to their offspring. A Christian or Muslim could never be convinced that we descended from the apes, but some of the less believing or fanatical might be convinced through intelligent debate that their God was really an extraterrestrial being.

All of this, of course, hinges on the possibility that space ships from another galaxy or inhabited planet have or are traveling to earth. It's ridiculous to debate the issue of whether there is life on another planet because it is impossible to prove one way or another. There is of course zero scientific data to support other life and only hearsay from witnesses that it does. If we take the hypothetical position that people who say they were abducted or saw UFO's actually did see something, how can we be sure they even know what they saw. It's been the conjecture of many that early profits of the Bible were actually seeing spaceships, not fiery chariots.

In the book of Ezekiel the profit talks about God's chariot spitting fire out from under it with gemstones around it, etc. The text can easily be seen as a rocket that is being described by somebody that has never seen a rocket before. Physics on the other hand, proves that this cannot be the case. The 'ship' described in Ezekiel would have to be using some form of conventional rocket fuel to fit the description. The space shuttle produces 3.3 mk of thrust drinking tens of thousands of gallons of rocket fuel in 1200 seconds. That's only enough to get it off the ground once. Its also a relatively small craft used as an orbiter. It could never make a deep space flight. If Ezekiel's vision was a ship, it was obviously capable of multiple takeoffs and landings which would take more fuel than it could carry.

Obviously any deep space craft would have to have some other form of propulsion. Whatever propulsion was devised, scientists are in agreement that such a craft would have to travel at light speed at least. If we use known physical laws, we know that as your speed increases toward light speed, you mass grows closer to infinite and would require an infinite amount of energy to move. These physical laws are absolute and cannot be broken. Scientist predict that in order to accelerate a one pound object to near light speed would take the equivalent energy of 20 H-bombs. The space shuttle weighs about 100,000 kg. Our aliens power supply would also not only need to generate enough power to move his craft but would also need power to form some kind of shielding to protect if from space debris. Space, contrary to popular belief, is not a vacuum. It's full of all kinds of junk floating around. One small pebble impacting his ship at light speed would completely obliterate it.

Let's pretend he's a smart little guy and has developed some incredible power source. How would he survive the acceleration to light speed or the deceleration? The fact is he couldn't. Any organic material inside the ship would turn to gelatin against the rear bulkhead. Star Trek solved the problem by creating a warp bubble that would fold space, giving the illusion of great speed. This of course is great science fiction, but poor science.

Again let's pretend the little guy is on top of everything and can indeed fly at light speed. Light speed is equivalent to 300,000 km/sec. Traveling at light speed, it would take you 2 seconds to reach the moon. It would take you 5 hours to reach the planet Pluto. To reach the nearest star to our planet, it would take 4.3 years. To reach the nearest galaxy, it would take 2 million years. Nobody has enough patience to travel 2 million years to see us and if all the UFO sightings are true, then fleets of spacecraft must have left in an armada millions of years ago. Then they left without telling anybody. I doubt it.

The problem is that physicists and Ufology scientists are always trying to look at something extraordinary in ordinary terms. Laws of physics negate any chance of somebody traveling from one star to another. It just can't be done. So what are these 'space ships' everybody sees? Whatever they are, they are obviously already here. We just can't see them the majority of the time. Let's take a leap into the world of Quantum Physics. It is a science that is growing more popular by the day. Quantum physicists look outside the box of the natural physicist. One theory is dimensional travel.

Pretend for a moment that the people you see on your television are real people living out there lives. They are of course, two dimensional people living in a two dimensional world. They cannot see us because we are outside their plane of existence but we can see them in our three dimensional universe. Now pretend you could magically insert your finger into the picture tube, passing through their two dimensional plane. What would they see? The answer is a circle. If we moved our finger about in quite ordinary ways for us, he would see this circle zooming around his world in impossible speeds (for him) in impossible directions. When we pulled our finger slowly out of the screen he would see the circle get smaller and smaller until if vanished. Quantum theorists believe there are up to 10 dimensions. If there were four dimensional beings around and for some reason passed through our three dimensional world, what would we see? Perhaps a cylinder or cone, maybe even a saucer? They would need no great power source to travel here. They are already here. Our laws of motion, acceleration and deceleration would not limit them like it does us.

Another question is how would they perceive time? We are three dimensional beings and perceive time two dimensionally. Time for us is linear. We have the past, present and future. We can't get back to the past or see it, nor can we travel to or see the future no matter what Miss Cleo says. If there was a four dimensional being, what if he saw time three dimensionally. He would be able to see our entire lives, past present and future. What if he could somehow tell Miss Cleo what he saw? Think of it this way. You're standing on a street corner waiting to see the Christmas parade. You see the front of the parade arrive and pass you by. After a few minutes you can no longer see the front of the parade, only the floats passing in front of you. An hour or so later you see the end of the parade go by and can no longer see the rest of it. Now imagine you were watching the parade from the blimp. You would be able to see the entire parade beginning, middle and end. What if a four dimensional being saw time the same way? An even crazier idea would be what if you dropped a road block ahead of the parade or communicated to the parade to turn left at the next street. The parade would change course. You are still looking at the beginning and end, but now it's changed. It would also explain how a four dimensional being could be everywhere at the same time. A being that perceived time three dimensionaly would also be able to move back and forth in our time.
