The word that we received "over here" is that the 12 months comes into play if you deploy after 1 AUG 08. I think people were expecting for that to be retroactive but for those over here now and those that deploy until 31 JUL 08 we still have to do the full 15 months. We'll be here again anyway. History shows this most likely has another 4-5 years to go. It's a strain yes but you gotta learn to deal with it when you get hit with the calling. (Just my .01 cents after taxes)
